Toyo Proxes ST III Review: Great Performer Overall

toyo-proxes-st-iii-review

The all-season Toyo Proxes ST III aims to provide the driver with enough grip for quick cornering, sharper steering, and generally better stability, and do all of that regardless of the temperature outside.

Does it succeed in doing that, though? To answer that question, I’ve prepared a detailed review of the Proxes ST III, where I’ll cover every aspect of the tire that might be important to SUV or truck owners.

Toyo Open Country AT3 Review: Great Tire for Camping and Overlanding

toyo-open-country-at3-review

With its excellent off-road abilities, safe on-road performance, and super-durable tread compound, the Toyo Open Country AT3 is easily one of the best all-terrain tires you can buy right now and especially considering the price. This is a tire with only a few small disadvantages, and neither is a deal-breaker. Hence, I think you should put it on your shortlist.

There are many things you can do to a car to improve the driving experience, but the easiest and most noticeable is putting on new tires. And not just any tires, but high-performance ones. But what if you don’t want to sacrifice all-season traction? Worry not – the Extensa HP II is an ultra-high-performance all-season tire that promises year-round traction and an engaging drive.

Like most other Toyo tires, it’s also cheaper than the premium alternatives, although not by much. But I guess most of you are already asking – is it as good as Toyo’s ultra-high-performance summer tires? Well, that’s what our detailed Toyo Extensa HP II review is for!

Kumho Solus TA71 Review: Living with the Compromises

kumho-solus-ta71-review

Grand-touring all-season tires are the best choice for drivers that want a blend of long treadlife, comfortable ride, and more capable handling than a normal passenger tire.

The Kumho Solus TA71 is a popular grand-touring all-season tire, competing with some popular budget-oriented models, like the BF Goodrich Advantage T/A Sport and Sumitomo HTR Enhance LX2, but also premium tires, like the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack and Michelin Premier A/S.

Kumho’s offering costs much less than the premium competition, but does that mean it performs worse? Read on to find out in our detailed Kumho Solus TA71 review.

Kumho Solus TA11 Review: Great for the Price

kumho-solus-ta11-review

In the past, if you wanted the best possible tires on your car, you needed to shell out a lot of cash and go for a premium brand, such as Michelin, Bridgestone, or Goodyear. Today, though, manufacturers like Kumho offer a premium experience at a much lower price point, providing vehicle owners with much more options to choose from.

The Korean tiremaker competes in many categories but is especially popular among drivers of smaller passenger cars. That’s because these owners aren’t used to paying a premium for tires, and having a good option for less money is tempting. This brings us to the Kumho Solus TA11 review, where we’ll uncover everything there is to know about the brand’s entry-level offering. Let’s dig in!

Kumho Crugen HP71 Review: A Formidable Touring Tire

kumho-crugen-hp71-review

Sport-utility vehicles or crossovers are in huge demand, and the Kumho Crugen HP71 is ready for action. The Crugen HP71 is Kumho’s premier all-season touring tire designed specifically for crossovers or SUVs. It’s also an excellent choice for sporty pickup trucks, although it’s not ideal for rugged applications like climbing mountains or forging streams.

But for what it is, the Kumho Crugen HP71 is a formidable touring tire for changing weather conditions. In this Kumho Crugen HP71 review, you’ll find out why the Crugen HP71 ranks highly in almost every aspect and why it’s the perfect choice for your crossover or SUV.

Continental ExtremeContact Sport Review: Satisfy the Most Demanding Drivers

continental-extremecontact-sport-review

The Continental ExtremeContact Sport made its debut in 2017 to replace the ExtremeContact DW. Five years on, and it remains one of the best ultra-high performance summer tires money can buy. Speaking of money, the Continental ExtremeContact Sport is also more affordable than the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 and Michelin Pilot Sport while remaining more capable in wet driving and the braking department.

Continental claims the ExtremeContact Sport is for daily driven sports cars, sport sedans, sport coupes, and high-performance crossovers. Like all summer tires, the ExtremeContact Sport grips with tenacity on dry pavement. But with Continental’s SportPlus tread compound, the ExtremeContact Sport is a magnificent performer on wet roads. It also has the comfort and silence of a touring tire, a huge deal given the ExtremeContact Sport is a UHP or ultra-high performance tire.

In this review, you’ll find out why the Continental ExtremeContact Sport is constantly garnering stellar reviews from the automotive community. Let the fun begin!

Kumho Ecsta PA51 Review: Deliver Driving Thrills All Year Long

kumho-ecsta-pa51-review

The Kumho Ecsta PA51 is facing stiff competition in the ultra-high performance (UHP) all-season category. It’s going up against performance stalwarts like the Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4, Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06, and Bridgestone Potenza RE980.

But if there’s one thing the Kumho Ecsta PA51 has over those name-brand tires is a lower price tag. In this review, you’ll find out why the Kumho Ecsta PA51 is worth considering for your sports car, sports coupe, sports sedan, or performance luxury car.

Continental Control Contact Tour A/S Plus Review: An Excellent All-Season Touring Tire

continental-control-contact-tour-a-s-plus-review

We don’t usually say this, but the Continental Control Contact Tour A/S Plus is an excellent all-season touring tire, if not one of the best. It sits in the middle of the price range, but it performs like an expensive touring performance tire. Sure, it’s not the best-handling nor the sportiest tire we reviewed, but only reckless driving will unsettle this tire from the road.

On dry pavement, it offers the tenacity of a performance tire without the stiff ride or road noise. On wet roads, it gives the driver more confidence with stellar grip and stronger braking. It even performs admirably over light snow, ice, and mild off-road driving. It’s hard to find a better tire for the price. We highly recommend the Continental Control Contact Tour A/S Plus in the all-season touring tire category.

Kumho Road Venture AT51 Review: a Competent Off-Roader

kumho-road-venture-at51-review

Kumho isn’t a brand that’s very popular among off-road enthusiasts, but the Korean company does everything in its power to change that. A great example of its latest push into the all-terrain category is the Road Venture AT51, an all-terrain tire with a fairly aggressive tread pattern and tough construction.

The tire is quite attractive on the outside and won’t look out of place on SUVs like the Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco. It’s also not very expensive when compared to other premium offerings. But is it any good? Let’s find out in our detailed Kumho Road Venture AT51 review!
